![]() Then he comes back saying the printer is broken and takes another picture. He took our picture, we asked for a copy and kept forgetting. We literally got our food 5 minutes ago - the place had empty tables so it wasn't like they needed the table for other customers. As soon as that came they turned off the overhead lights and asked if we wanted boxes. We literally just got our food, we aren't thinking of ice cream. As soon as we received our meat portion, Andrew came over to ask what kind of ice cream we wanted. Cook looked bored and over doing the same routine over and over. When the cook came to confirm the order, it was wrong and missing items. If he wasn't high on something he had a severe concussion going on. We used to come here every year for our October birthdays in our family. It was a good thing when they started the pandemic online orders to go but it seems that the service needs some work. I used to come here weekly but since they have implemented these charges with the poor service to go with it, I no longer come here and I don't order takeout anymore because they charge the fee for that too. I don't like being told what I have to pay that's outside of the food I'm ordering. ![]() OR raise your prices to include gratuity. PAY YOUR PEOPLE WHAT THEY'RE WORTH and TRAIN THEM TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE YOUR RESTAURANT WANTS TO BE KNOWN FOR. I wish restaurants would stop doing this and do one of two things: First, please start training your staff to provide good customer service. It's unfair to the customers to add a 20% gratuity and the waitress disappears or provides poor service. It seems like the last few times I've been here, the waitress comes and then disappears for half the dinner service because she knows the gratuity is being added so they no longer care about the service they provide. This additional 20% is incredibly high to receive so so service. One of the things that I don't like and partly have stopped eating out as much is this "service fee/gratuity". I've never had bad food from this place but the service at times has been rocky since the pandemic. I'm not opposed to tipping but I would like to be the one to determine when service earned my 20% vs. This place is not what it used to be unfortunately. On top of this, they also charged $6 per person to upgrade to fried rice. Frustrating that we were charged a 20% service fee for horrible service. After a hard look, we found a 20% service fee added to our bill!! I asked what this was for and that's as told it gets split between staff but the server wasn't even sure how it would as divided. They found someone else to finish our service However, when we got the bill we were surprised to see it was way more than we expected. I had to flag down a staff person to find out where our server was and we were told at that time that he left. Not one person approached our table again once we had our food. Once we finished eating, we sat and sat waiting for our server to come as we wanted dessert (we had a birthday certificate). When she brought our food, we asked for another shrimp sauce, we never got it. The person who delivered the food to the table was not our initial server but I never gave it a second thought. Once we received our food, we never saw a server at our table again. We ordered drinks and received those fairly quickly as well as our meal but. We sat in the bar area and had a server at our table rather quickly. I've been here multiple times and never had an issue. Horrible service at this restaurant today.
